Como um dos nomeados, Lucas Grabeel não quis deixar de marcar presença nos Teen Choice Awards 2014, que se realizaram ontem (10 Ago) no Shrine Auditorium, em Los Angeles, CA. O Lucas fez-se acompanhar da sua irmã Autumn para este evento, onde também marcaram presença as suas "irmãs" de Switched At Birth, Vanessa Marano e Katie Leclerc. O Lucas estava nomeado na categoria "Choice TV Actor: Drama", mas perdeu para Ian Harding da série Pretty Little Liars. A série Switched At Birth também perdeu para Pretty Little Liars, mas na categoria "Choice TV Show: Drama"!
Zac Efron, que estava nomeado na categoria "Choice Male Hottie", também perdeu, tendo os One Direction levado a melhor!
